Technologies based on Artificial Intelligence (AI) are starting to influence many areas of medical research and practice. How can these new technologies be used to analyze medical images and other data, support the diagnosis and treatment of diseases, and help in the development of new drugs?

On Friday, April 21, the RHET AI Center presents a special event at the Kino Arsenal in Tübingen to vividly explore examples of how AI can be used in medicine. The event starts at 18:15h – and features short animated explainer videos created by interdisciplinary teams of students. This project is the result of a teaching collaboration between partners from the fields of Medicine, Rhetoric, Media Science, and Machine Learning. Accompanying the short movies, there will also be talks with the students and experts involved, providing further insights into the underlying research as well as the creative process behind the videos. Admission to the event is free.
