"Not my AI?!" — Keynote Lecture by Dr. Anne Burkhardt

Key­note Speech at the AI Sym­posi­um of the Cen­ter for School Qual­ity and Teach­er Edu­ca­tion (ZSL) and the Cen­ter for Digit­al Edu­ca­tion Tübingen

On Fri­day, June 16th, Anne Burkhardt (RHET AI Cen­ter) will give a talk on the eth­ic­al and social chal­lenges of arti­fi­cial intel­li­gence at the AI sym­posi­um of the Cen­ter for School Qual­ity and Teach­er Edu­ca­tion (ZSL) and the Cen­ter for Digit­al Edu­ca­tion in Tübin­gen. Prof. Ulrike von Luxburg (Depart­ment of Com­puter Sci­ence) and Flori­an Nuxoll (Geschwister-Scholl-Schule) will also give key­note speeches on the tech­nic­al found­a­tions of machine learn­ing and the use of AI in the classroom. Inform­at­ive and inter­act­ive pan­els are planned for the after­noon, focus­ing on dif­fer­ent aspects of AI and education.

The sym­posi­um is primar­ily aimed at advisors in the fields of instruc­tion­al devel­op­ment and teach­er train­ing at the ZSL region­al office in Tübin­gen and the school super­vis­ory author­ity at the Regier­ung­s­präsidi­um Tübin­gen, as well as sem­in­ar teach­ers at the teach­er train­ing sem­in­ar. Inter­ested aca­dem­ics from the Uni­ver­sity of Tübin­gen are also wel­come to par­ti­cip­ate. If you are inter­ested, please register for the sym­posi­um by e‑mail.
