Conference: Evaluation in Science Communication (Dec 7th+8th, 2023)

The Munich Sci­ence Com­mu­nic­a­tion Lab and the Impact Unit at Wis­senschaft im Dia­log are host­ing a con­fer­ence on "Eval­u­ation in Sci­ence Com­mu­nic­a­tion" at the Lud­wig-Max­imili­ans-Uni­ver­sity in Munich.

The con­fer­ence will focus on cur­rent devel­op­ments, chal­lenges and future per­spect­ives in the field of sci­ence com­mu­nic­a­tion. The aim is to bring togeth­er expert­ise from the­ory and prac­tice and to make sci­ence com­mu­nic­a­tion even more effect­ive. The con­fer­ence is aimed at sci­ence com­mu­nic­at­ors, sci­ence com­mu­nic­a­tion research­ers and sci­ence com­mu­nic­a­tion trainers.

RHET AI's pro­ject coordin­at­or Dr. Markus Gott­schling will reflect at the open­ing of the con­fer­ence on the work of the cen­ter togeth­er with rep­res­ent­at­ives of the oth­er cen­ters of the Volk­swa­gen Foundation's fund­ing line "Wis­senschaft­skom­munika­tion Hoch Drei" (Munich Sci­ence Com­mu­nic­a­tion Lab, Rhine Ruhr Cen­ter for Sci­ence Com­mu­nic­a­tion Research, Kiel Sci­ence Com­mu­nic­a­tion Net­work and RHET AI).

You can register here and down­load the pre­lim­in­ary pro­gram at the end of the art­icle. The con­fer­ence will be held in per­son and in Ger­man, how­ever you will be able to ask ques­tions and make com­ments in Eng­lish as well.
