Alpha Persuade. A Summit on Ethical AI, 29 February, Irvine/California

Next week, Prof. Dr. Olaf Kramer and Dr. Markus Gottschling will represent us at the international Rhetoric conference AlphaPersuade in Irvine, CA.

In collaboration with other international rhetoric specialists, they will develop a “Framework for Ethical Persuasion” across AI technologies during the framework sessions on the 27th and 28th of February. The ethical framework will be presented and discussed during the Summit itself on February 29th among other researchers and industry professionals connected to the field of AI technology. In his opening keynote "Persuasion in Artificial Intelligence", Prof. Dr. Kramer will highlight relevant case studies on ethical persuasion in the context of AI. The keynotes provide an insight into contemporary considerations on the connection between rhetoric and artificial intelligence. The ethical frameworks to be developed address a growing need in society and industry to limit disinformation and build trust in the context of AI applications.
